We've spent the last four months exploring everything there is to know about the Seasong Islands; we began with the Fauna, then added Flora & Fungi, then gave you Places and Sights. Now we've reached the end of our journey: Seasong Culture, People & Quests. Instead of releasing this as another separate Quest Pack, we've decided to just skip straight to the final books!
The Traveller's Guide to the Seasong Islands
The Seasong Islands are a tropical archipelago that has been blessed by Aria; the goddess of song. The people are cheerful and inviting, and the islands are full of colour and music; from the smallest village to the tallest peak! But beneath all that exuberance lie dangers that only adventurers are fit to tackle: violent pirate raids, giant predatory insects, terrible sea monsters and colonial invaders!
The books
The Traveller's Guide to the Seasong Islands is divided into two pdf books:
- The Traveller's Guide itself, which is an in-character book that players, and their characters, can use at the table to learn about the islands.
- The Game Master's Companion, which explores various secrets, plots, quests and characters that the GM can use to build stories, as well as game statistics for everything that appears in the Traveller's Guide.

The Traveller's Guide to the Seasong Islands includes:
- Seasong Culture: An exploration of the local culture; how to travel the islands with respect and kindness.
- The Islands: A guide to each (inhabited) island, touching on important and iconic locations, as well as traveller-friendly taverns and shops.
- Travelling Around: A detailed overview of all travel options available to visitors and locals alike.
- Fauna: A chapter dedicated to common beasts and magical creatures, some of whom are dangerous!
- Flora: An overview of common plants and fungi, where to find them, and the potion formulas and food recipes they are used in.
- Recipes: Instructions on how to brew potions and cook meals using ingredients found around the Seasong Islands.
The Game Master's Companion includes:
- Travel Rules: Guidelines on how to manage movement, exploration, tracking & foraging on the Seasong Islands.
- Location Details: Secrets and stories found on each island that the Traveller's Guide does not cover.
- Taverns & Shops: The inventories, price lists and shop keepers or tavern owners of all Taverns & Shops featured in the Guide.
- Quests: 4 pre-written quests to engage player characters with
- NPCs: Profiles for a number of important characters and their game statistics.
- Appendixes: Includes game statistics for creatures, items, hazards, spells, vehicles & services.
- Encounter Tables: Detailed encounter tables with short plot hooks for each island and environment.

The Traveller's Guide to the Seasong Islands can be used independently, or as an add-on to the Stars of the Sea campaign. Quest Pack 24: The Invasion of the Seasong Islands explains what's happening on the islands during the events of the Stars of the Sea, and includes various story hooks that can incentivise players to travel to the islands. In my personal playthroughs of the campaign, the arrival of waves of (star-infested) refugees from the islands has been enough to cause the player characters to seek out the islands. How does this fit into the Stars of the Sea campaign? I'm a bit confused since throughout the campaign, characters are only sent to Spirian's Retreat, but not the other Seasong Islands. Just trying to figure out how to smoothly incorporate the other islands into the main story.
