Greatest wrestlemania ever. You've got this, Austin Vs. Rock, Hardys Vs. Dudleys Vs. Edge and Christian TLC Match, Taker Vs. HHH first mania match, Angle Vs. Benoit in possibly Angle's best match ever, and you even got Vince Vs. Shane in an insane no dq match.

Thank you to the person who submitted this match, I've been watching wrestling since 1998 and this is my all time favorite match Raven is my favorite wrestler Kane was the 1st wrestler I ever seen on TV and is my 2nd favorite and my mother who never was into wrestler did like the Big Show. The hardcore division was a lower mid card act where any wrestler who they didn't have anything for would pop up in that title picture. Title reigns were very short and became more of a comedy title.

I believe this is your third match you have seen from WM 17. Stone Cold/Rock, The TLC Match with the Dudleys, Hardys and Edge/Christian and now this match. Might as well watch the whole show lol. The greatest WM of all time for a reason

Damn this was a fun ass time being a fan. I haven't seen this match in forver but I'll never forget the golf cart spot 😂. Raven is incredible as a character and on mic, but WWE never gave him an appropriate push. This is 2 months after Kane went over an hour in that Royal Rumble y'all watched recently. Dude was one of the MVPs of 2001. Jacked as hell too

Fucking love this match. Eventually plan on submitting a playlist with a couple of notable hardcore matches from the Attitude Era that are like this. Raven was awesome. One of the most brilliant minds in wrestling. He never got out of the hardcore division in the WWF though due to how stacked the roster was. He had two of the most notable feuds in ECW, one with Tommy Dreamer and the other with The Sandman. Raven even brainwashed Sandman’s son against him in their feud. Raven also used to have the record for most reigns with an individual belt with 27 with the Hardcore Title, eventually broken by R Truth who held the 24/7 Title 54 times. Raven was in the 01 Rumble but this is the first time there was a match that he was the focus of.

I do remember there was another sideways pin count, when Big Show pinned a guy up against a wall one time. Can't remember what the match was though :(

The original plan was for to be a golf cart chase scene around the whole backstage. Big shows weight in the back of the first cart, made it difficult for the front wheels to turn. Which led to the card getting stuck.

So the hardcore title was always hardcore falls count anywhere matches. But, it also had a 24/7 rule where it could be defended any time, any place. You could be eating lunch and someone could come with a ref and attack you to try to win the belt
