Wow. Traveling back in time to go see the wizard. I never realized how "magicky" Shazam was Ok. Talking crocs? Am I on an acid trip I did not schedule?? Gotta say overall this book feels disjointed. Sort of jumps around a lot. For an origin story, it feels like I am supposed to know things that I do not.
Two thoughts... the 1st meeting with the wizard feels weird. Especially the "pull my finger" (technically says touch) is creepy. Also. If was in Billy's position when the wizard starts screaming "say the magic word". I'm not sure I would have been processing his words about the acronym fast enough to have KNOWN what to say. ๐
