How long do you think Superman was in the future? Days, weeks, months? He grew a fierce beard.
Don't you think by now for how many times the Flash has slipped on ice that he'd add running spikes to his uniform? Or at least keep some in his belt or ring and be able to slip them on as soon as he saw it forming.
