Sweet potatoes 🥔 🥔 and yams 🍠🍠 are different vegetables. I do not eat them, Sam-I-yam. I do not eat them on a boat. I will not eat them in a coat. I will not eat them in my bed. "I do not like them", I have said! I'm not sure there's enough in one yam to do much. I've never heard of any kind of supplement that have testosterone in them. Maybe it gets broken down during digestion - hence creams and pellets.
