Beneos Tokens: Curse of Strahd Tokens in Spooktober 2021 Announcement
🕑 Added 2021-10-04 17:40:37 +0000 UTCOur darkest fears and deepest desires have come to life, as we got contacted by someone we are pretty sure is the vampiric ruler of a mist-wreathed demiplane. Of course we offered to do his bidding.
What does this mean for you?
For Beneos Tokens patreons it means that during the spooky season (meaning: October) we are releasing tokens inspired by the spookiest of D&D content, Curse of Strahd. Maybe some of you are running Death House on Halloween, maybe some of you want to run a one shot revolving around one of the many creepy set pieces from CoS or maybe your campaign is just at the right place to yoink your party into Barovia - either way, we want to support you and not get abducted ourselves by our new undead overlord.
So - look forward to a whole month of Tokens inspired by and dedicated to the Curse of Strahd!
What can Beneos Tokens Supporters you expect?
We will release tokens you can use for your Strahd game, or horror game in general, like Vampire Spawns, Zombies and so on, but please don't expect exact NPCs like Strahd or Ezmeralda (yet). If the feedback during spooktober is positive we might do more Tokens of the demiplane of dread.

A more complete token collection for Curse of Strahd is needed badly. To have to use cartoony tokens on your beautiful maps is a sin! Love ya man!
Beneos Tokens
The first test balloon will be the one month = 4 tokens. Based on the feedback we might do more. As I wrote in the news post we are going for generic strahd inspired typical Barovian Monsters. At the moment I am negotiating with different 3D artists to support me on creating custom tokens. If that goes well we also can expect NPCs but no promises yet =)
