Hmmm… some speculation here: I think the “good doctor” might be whom the gift we received last update on Katherine route was for. There were hints that there are some pretty serious medical experimentation going on underneath with the mentor of the “good doctor” heavily involved, and a MC (also an up and coming doctor) who received Katherine’s gift last update by being in very good graces with her and going to her after the competition just might be pulled deeper into the confidence of what is going on with that in this scene.
