All told, progress for this update sits at 1376(up +172 from last time) statics, 38(+4) animations, and 38,705 words (+9,992, boy I sure I don't ever embarrassingly screw up the math on these).
We just had a developer diary a couple weeks ago, but I wanted to touch base since we have FINALLY dug ourselves out of the dark, tiresome prison that was the punishment game and are now basking beautifully in the warm sunlight of Mina.
We are making really nice headway with her portion of the update and we should be done with her branching introductory parts in a couple of days. Depending on if you crossed the line with her, if you GF'd up Hana, or if friendzoned our bubbly blonde... you will experience some unique consequences/decisions. GIL and I are both extremely pleased with how this portion is shaping up, and I hope it will resonate with you as strongly as it has with us. Anyway, enough tooting our own horns.
Thank you all for your support and patience. I hope this update will be worthy of them.

Leo has a good point about the size of Rose's debt. $23k is unpleasant but ultimately manageable even to somebody with menial employment. But since it's a debt owed to the underworld (i.e. not exactly dischargeable in bankruptcy), it's completely believable that it *started* at $23k but grew faster than she could make payments because of a predatory vig, and has now grown to some impossible size (my instinct is that $80k or higher feels right). It would give unimpeachable credibility to her motivation. Best of all, if M&J decide to address the issue, it's a minor retcon that just requires a few quick text edits.

Just found this game and wow! great concept and characters. My only nitpick is a) face renders of older women -they look too young especially Red carnation face is very cute but doesn't fell like it belongs on that muscular body. b) 23k debt for Rosie - seems like not enough money to go into this competition if it was 100k would be more believable Thanks for a awesome game!
