Something V/line this way comes
🕑 Added 2024-01-09 06:37:04 +0000 UTCHello! This morning I was out very early taking my first rail photos for 2024 (I know, took me 9 whole days). I was specifically after a few shots I need for my next video, which will be a general look at the V/line fleet, which I'm hoping to get done by this weekend (they're coming a bit faster now hey?).
This shot shows N465 'City of Ballaarat' racing past West Footscray with the down Swan Hill pass. It was running a bit late, as 465's head end power unit failed (I assume) not long before departure, and the Y class shunter brought over a PH power van to add to the train (visible at the rear). Also of note, although hard to see in this lighting - the second car is one of the only remaining (..THE only?) Z cars in the old grey livery.
So anyway, V/line video on the way!

There very good at rail replacement buses. They do run a train every now and then.

YES. I’ve always wanted to see you do a video about V/Line. Hopefully we’ll see the New South Wales equivalent one day with NSW Trainlink.
