A lot of people have been asking me to publish my podcast episodes on an actual podcast platform instead of on Patreon. Good news! That functionality is now available!
Spotify has released a new featured called subscriptions, which allows you to sign up for $4.99/month to unlock bonus content.

To be clear, I AM GOING TO STOP PUBLISHING PODCAST EPISODES HERE ON PATREON, AND INSTEAD PUBLISH THEM ON MY OFFICIAL PODCAST.
So, if you only want to listen to my podcast, you may want to consider unsubscribing from Patreon, and resubscribing on Spotify. It's the exact same bonus content at the exact same price, just on a different platform.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but to be honest Patreon just isn't a very good platform for sharing podcast episodes.

Hi Rslash, I'm getting an error that my billing details don't match location. This is odd because they should do. I then saw "US only" in the terms. Is there a way we can subscribe if we are outside the US? If it is geo-locked to the US, I would be very grateful if you could continue uploading podcasts to Patreon. Edit: I'm from the UK myself. Many thanks for considering!

Hi! I went to Spotify and tried sponsoring for the bonus episodes. It took me to the anchor site, and then wouldn’t take my card. When I clicked for more info it said it was for US only. I’m in Canada. Is there another way for your Canadian fans to have access? Thanks!

Good morning, I sent you a message a bit ago asking if you could fix the RSS audio link so that we can play bonus content in the podcast app of our choosing. I subscribe to another podcast here and the RSS audio link allows me to play their content which is not publicly available in my podcast app. When I tried loading yours in, I got an error.
Yes, but some people prefer podcast episodes bc they're more convenient to listen to. Podcasts platforms allow you to download episodes to listen offline. For example, I know a lot of people like to listen when they're commuting to work, so their Internet may be unreliable. So even though the podcast audio is identical to video audio, publishing on a podcast makes a big difference to some people.
