Hello BAP (or BAP's permutation of this weeks podcast), I am very late in submitting this question, but I will anyway in case I forget again for next week... In a recent interview with TV writer Ronald D. Moore about their new God of War Amazon series, Moore said they "never really played the games". Do you think the writer of a series based on a video game should be a person who played through said game, or passing knowledge of the lore should be enough? Can you really get the feeling of a game without playing it - even if you have a team around you and access to all the inside material? https://kotaku.com/god-of-war-tv-ronald-d-moore-battlestar-galactica-1851770751 Thanks for all you do!

Hi BAP! The last few days have seen announcements of two live-service shutdowns: Star Wars Hunters and Spectre Divide. It naturally makes big headlines when big companies' live-service games fail, and these two got attention for their shutdown notices due to the licence for one and the short time the other was active, but what about the games that get deactivated and rendered unplayable without anyone noticing they were there in the first place? We talk about preservation of games people have fond memories of and want to be able to access in the future, but does the industry have the same moral obligation to preserve its failures as well?

Hi again BAP, Apparently Ubisoft have plans in place to protect their developers from online harassment, including having lawyers ready, for when AC Shadows releases. https://tech4gamers.com/ac-shadows-ubisoft-anti-harassment-plans/ It's sad that it is now predictable that 'gamers' will harrass game developers, whether this is just because they made a game they don't like but especially when it is for reasons that are sexist, racist and anti-anything they consider woke. What are your thoughts on this? Will the initiative be effective? Is there any way to prevent such harassment in the first place by somehow making people 'be better' or is this a sad fact of life and that remedial action to look out for developer wellbeing after the fact is all we can hope for? Thanks for all the hard work and entertainment as always.

Bloomberg released an article saying Nintendo switch 2 will have a massive launch even at a price of 400 dollars plus, a big increase on the current switch. What price do you think Nintendo will go for with the switch 2, given the current switch hasn’t yet had an official significant price drop 8 years into its life?

So Split Fiction is supporting an underserved need for co-op gaming. What other subgenre do you think needs some love, and do you have a company in mind to bring such a game out?
