Oh, this coworker was a piece of work... The listener had a lot more patience than I would have had in reality. My temper would have immediately flared the second he opened his mouth with a condescending remark, haha. The tension here was absolutely tantalizing, though. Got to love it when you don't know whether to punch or kiss someone. While friends to lovers will always be my number one romance trope, I still have a very soft spot for enemies to lovers, especially academic rivals to lovers or coworkers (who have tendency to clash) to lovers. The absolute mushy part of me likes to think that the coworker/speaker actually has a heart and develops feelings at some point, but maybe that's just me. It would be interesting to see what his next set of moves would be, and how the listener would respond to them. It would almost be like a calculated game of chess (albeit a very hot one). I am a big fan of your office audios, and if you ever find yourself creating more, I'd happily listen to them. Perhaps in another audio, the speaker and listener could be both be working late and get trapped in the office elevator on their way out of the building. Oh, the things they could get up to in an enclosed space like that during a window of uninterrupted time...
