Literally only change the width if I feel I need to. I leave training to staff only add match review after games to boost tactical familiarity. Best development is game time for young players from 18 I’d say , so if they are not gonna play at your club loan them out to somewhere they are guaranteed minutes as a starter

Do you ever set anything else during a match outside of the width? There are matches where the tactics are great, but somewhere they get a little off. I beat Atalanta now, but the shot ratio was 20-11 for Atalanta. Against Nottingham it was 2-2 with a 10-13 shot ratio for me. I beat Crystal Palace 6-1, but the shot ratio was even (15-11 for me) .I started FM not so long ago and I have a question: do you usually set the weekly training plan or do you leave it completely up to the staff?! What is best for the development of young people?
