Ian Cook

Not so wise cliff beats fire too.

C

Maybe red hair?

I didn’t say that half-remembered courses would help _you_. But they’d definitely be useful to the guy who's gonna put your soul through the shredder to distill some useful data. :) To make use of it yourself, you definitely need some scientific background. At the very least, you'll have the scientific method and a bunch of unheard-of concepts at your disposal.

Andy

I like that you didnt have her also be a transmigrator from earth. Part of the appeal of the story is the uniqueness of thr MC's perspective.

Boyo

This would be a great twist

Crimson wolf

So Ye An was totally the protag's fiancee who abandoned him right? Might also be song song but less likely

Runehkt

and so ends the exam arc *nods*

C

Looking at it realistically even with half-remembered courses of a scientific background you wouldn't be any better off than the average cultivator. Unless you were some kind of advanced physicist or something similar, you would not be much better off. Plus, in a world where having a pet turtle somehow makes you stronger, who is to say if the same rules in our world apply to this one?

MaliMi

I think that it was previously mentioned that the applicants need to ensure they keep some tokens and the outer disciples were supposed to try to take them.

Holy Mouse

That's actually a good question. This was the final elimination process, the final part of the exam, and the things that were done before like the aptitude test and all that were a things that Liu Feng and the others had no say in. The applicants were supposed to hide and escape, while the eliminators were supposed to not go too hard on them and the inner disciples that were leaders of teams were supposed to make sure of that. Though there were many parts, as technically the inner disciples also had their own tests to see how good they were at leadership and all that. But we see things from Liu Feng's POV, and he cares little about these things and he is not exactly directly involved in what the higher echelons of the sect decide.

Holy Mouse

If that is true or not, Liu Feng dosen't know yet. He just knows the advantages he has had until now. ;-)

EnigmaEmmy

I still have no idea what the exam was :/

MaliMi

Does he still have time to search for a disciple for his elder?

Green0Photon

Inb4 she actually has a system and that's what she expected. Or something else. 🤔

C

Doesn't matter how great the cliff is if I keep falling off of them haha. Good chapter. Looking forward to more.

>"A reincarnator wasn't that different from any other cultivator around here" Yeah, and the Dao of the Nuke isn't anything to write home about. :) Just because MC is a casual with limited scientific knowledge doesn't mean everyone is. Even a couple of half-remembered lectures would be enough reason for someone to give you a thorough "soul-search". With a solid scientific background, you can pull off some seriously lethal shit. Thanks for the chapter, anyway.:)

Cirex123

our dude is doing a hilariously bad job of staying away from the main story characters

A.l

keep calling you 'sickly bitch' all the time." 🤣🤣

PatronTurtle

Feels like the end of an arc and possibly a book, tbh

Holy Mouse

After much research on the No Cliff Dao, I learned many ways to end a chapter. This one is called Emotional Closure, with a hint of Foreshadowing. Though on the way to reach this goal, I also learned how to make better Cliffs, lol. As a 'wise' man once said—"You can only beat fire with fire, and one can't be an exorcist without tumbling with demons." That wise man was me, I just made that shit up.
