Phil Meyering

Well that's an ominous chapter title.

Orims

MC should have said that everything what Song Song said in here is the reason why she is surrounded by spinelessness weaklings and backstabbers. Honestly you won't have worthwhile allies if you yourself act like trash.

Silver W. King

Ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves.

BZD

I believe she likely considers him a friend or something similar.

Leonard Marchant

Yuck

707 Error

I really like how song and Feng are the complete opposite of each other but still great it make for a really fun relationship

Undead Writer

Can’t wait for the next chapter!

C

I doubt there is anything you could write that doesn't offend somebody.

Elijah Overland

You know I like to joke about the Feng/Song ship but I am genuinely interested to see how these characters evolve over the course of the story.

An_Reader89

I’m guessing there will be some adaptions, but hopefully the basic morals stay rigid.

Undead Writer

I agree! Nukes are weapons not leaders. If Song Song wishes to become a nuke so be it, but our MC always wish to be a good person. Not a nuke

Undead Writer

Thanks for the chapter! I still hope he doesn’t loose his mentality from earth too much. Having his views so different from normal people in this cultivation world is what makes him so interesting!

Pumpkin Escobar

Turns out Liu Feng was just a pragmatist in disguise.

Woodsy

The pacing of this story is getting worse, maybe write 3 longer chapters a week in place of 5 shorts. feels like very little happens.

Epeen

Song song is based as fuck

Maxemuud

Isn't it weird though that according to Song Songs philosophy, ahe should also bw treating LF like trash? Is her crush so strong that it can actively make exceptions for her deeply held beliefs?

Irakli Jishkariani

Hmmmm, that thing where if you want to do something good to wait for strength is super wrong to me. I get it survival first in most of these things. Just, in that xianxia world you'll always find someone stronger then you, you'll always have contact, so getting more strength by advancing to do some things isn't going to work. You have to adapt to where you are right now and decide things accordingly. There will always be a challenge. Your words indicated to avoiding challenge if I understood right, I don't agree to that. Yeah if it's avoid being suicidal or struggling for something not worth it then okay, liu feng knows that anyway.

Traellium

Just be strong enough to where you can afford to be kind, and not worry about retaliation. ez

Gio

Song Song is right in a sense. Nukes in our world behave as Song Song says. But nukes don't have an attitude, and nukes don't lead, they're weapons.

PatronTurtle

Liu seems pretty flaky here for someone who is pretty thorough about understanding stuff. His definition is one for a democratic leader in a society of equals. Without guns or something that equalizes every person, his thinking is foundationally wrong

Gio

I guess this something like this makes sense in a world where 1 fighter can be worth 1000 lesser fighters.

jean

in my opinion its the difference between cultivating betrayals and enemies and being an efficient leader and inspire the people and followers to be loyal and song song argument is only might makes right which is fair but no its not what a good leader is a good leader inspire loyalty through strength and being competent to use everyone the best and gaining the most out of everyone's skills :P what her way will do is making sure that she will make enemies and plots against her much more likely and the moments any of her followers get the chance boom knife in the back since they might have a grievance with her over that exact action of making them do something to someone dear to them so no song song a leader isn't a one trick peony :P

Fakhrurrozi

Liking this chapter so far. Just as Liu Feng influenced Song Song, She also influence him

Runehkt

Haha, of course she would be satisfied, her future partner needs to have some base line ideologies that she shares. Hehe. Also I would be remiss if i didn't tell you that there might be some push back on the use of retarded and the autistic section. Some people take offense to it. Just a heads up so you are not blindsided by it. 👍

aj0413

….But, Song Song, it’s that mentality which has cultivated the environment where everyone around you will immediately stab you in the back… Also, I would not count forcing someone to attack a “friend” on pain of death as any measuring tool for the value in being kind; it’s a logical fallacy. Hell, her entire premise is built on a logical fallacy. I don’t blame Liz Feng in not wanting to go through the extra effort of fighting ingrained culture, but there’s something to be said for “doing the right thing” simply cause it helps one sleep at night

Lorevi Q

Feels like they have different definitions on what a leader is. Song Song is focused on which individuals have power while Liu Feng is more looking at what someone does with their power (the difference between leader as a noun and leading as a verb). Honestly I kinda side with Song Song though even in our world because an immoral, corrupt leader is still a leader even if a bad one.

Stephen Pearson

Thanks for the chapter! :-)

maldita

lmao the autistic comment got me

Confused

Yes Song Song is very pleased she actually made a point Liu Feng conceded on, cause well she is right in this given point. I do like how much she appreciates him for his advice and abilities.

tribekingRMwhen

Song Song being the bad bitch Liu Feng pulled in by being autistic confirmed.

Holy Mouse

I wouldn't say he changed his mind completely. More like agreed with her point, he can see how she sees the world like that as someone who grew here. But she caught him at a vulnerable point here. As he just finished a major battle and hasn't had the time to truly relax. In many ways this conversation was more important to her than to him. He was more concerned with her next breakthrough. We have seen Liu Feng change his mind many times on things, but he is quite stubborn on sticking to his own things. That agreement with her words we saw him thinking, not agreeing with her outwardly.

LAG

These philosophy discussions between LF and Song^2 are always an interesting read. It’ll also be interesting to see how much LF statement about not changing her crazy personality will end up being true. TFTC!

Vincent Mason

A friendship is a two way street.

Cisby

I'm a bit disappointed with Liu Feng. He appeared to change his mind to quick with so little push. I don't think Song argument about leadership was that great. It felt weak, and Liu Feng until now present himself as more "resilient". This change was a surprise to me.

Akki

With this conversation, she's actually saving him from getting hurt or possibly even killed in the future.

SirWins

Song song is pleased with herself for teaching liu feng something
