Im really happy to see you're enjoying the hell out of Japan. If you're visiting again, I'd recommend visiting Kyushu area. It got city in Fukuoka/Nagasaki and nature in Kumamoto/Miyazaki (and Kyushu is the birthplace of Tonkotsu ramen, 'nough said). Spring or Fall is most comfortable, river side with cherry blossoms or mountains with red/yellow leaves, your choice.
