Random thought! Would it be possible that the child might have even a slight immunity to draconic poison? 1, because they're half human, it might not affect them as well. 2, judging from the timing between when we got poisoned to the move kind of feels like we may have been expecting during that time and didn't know. So, if that were true, because the baby survived the poison, could it have some immunity towards it? Just food for thought.
