Chapter 5
Entering the building to Ms. Baker’s office Lara first off all checked her appearance in the Mirror, needing to make a small adjustment to her right stocking seam to straighten it out again before feeling confident that she could enter the office. Just like always she barged in without knocking then all of a sudden everything became a blur.
Prepared for Lara’s arrival Ms. Baker had blurted out “Lara is a stupid slut!” the moment the door to her office opened. She was very pleased when Lara walked in, her eyes already glazed over. Her trigger was working perfectly even if she did say so herself. Ms. Baker had been looking forward to this appointment all week. Ever since her talk with Lara last week she had looked forward to messing up Lara’s life in more drastic ways, using what she had learned last week.
She had grown very confident in the hold she had over her subject, confident enough to let the fun start. Her goal was still to turn Lara into the stupid slut she made her stepdaughter out to be, but she would start doing so in ways that drastically affected Lara and the things she enjoyed. “Good Lara, you know the drill. Strip down to your lingerie, settle down on my couch and relax. Oh you feel so very wonderful and relaxed being taken deep under by my voice.” Ms. Baker said calmly, supressing her excitement as she her tone needed to remain soothing above all else.
Having Lara strip down to her lingerie had no particular use anymore. Sure the woman was gorgeous, but apart from some light curiosities Ms. Baker had never been into women. Having Lara strip down was more of a power play than anything else. The woman might not be aware of being this vulnerable, after all she just relaxed and soaked up her words.
After spending about 20 minutes reinforcing the trigger and repeating the old commands Ms. Baker went to work on what she thought was the most urgent thing that needed fixing. So Lara like having people slave away at her feet? Well she would make sure that would become impossible for her, in fact she would try opening the way to make the opposite happen.
“Lara, you enjoy having people slave away at your feet right? Don’t you think that’s wrong? Aren’t you ashamed to let them see your feet? Don’t you think your feet look gross? Aren’t you disgusted by them?” Ms. Baker asked.
“I do like having people slave away at my feet. I think they should feel honoured to be allowed to serve at my feet. There is no shame in letting people see my feet, they are pretty and should be admired. Other people’s feet are gross and disgust me, but mine are perfect.” Lara said in a flat tone.
“How many people’s feet have you studied to come to the conclusion that yours are perfect and other people’s feet are gross and disgusting?” Ms. Baker asked pretty much knowing the answer to that question already. it remained important for the continuation of their session to pose it though as it would help in rationalising the rather out there command she was about to give.
“None, other people’s feet gross me out, they are disgusting.” Lara answered confirming Ms. Baker’s expectations. Lara had confessed last time to liking the symbolism behind having someone serve her feet. It was that symbolism that probably told her that her feet were perfect and others were disgusting, simply because she felt superior to everyone else.
“That makes no sense Lara, I think you can agree that making such assumptions based on no observations at all is just plain illogical. You can’t tell if someone else’s feet are disgusting or gross when you haven’t even looked, just like you can’t determine that your feet are perfect when you haven’t done your research and studied many feet before.” Ms. Baker rationalised, it was something Lara’s rational mind would not be able to argue with at all.
While it held up that you couldn’t just make someone do something that completely went against everything they were and stood for, you could through skill and patience remould someone, changing their views on things in a way that seemed rational and acceptable until they would accept commands that went in blatantly against who they were. You could make someone do things they would never do as long as you created the right circumstances.
“You should really do your research before you make such claims Lara. In fact that’s exactly what you’re going to do. From now on whenever you talk to someone, you will notice their feet and find out as much as you can about them. As you are a woman you should especially notice the feet of other women as they will give you the best comparison. To keep track of everything you are going to start a document kind of like a diary and update it thoroughly whenever you made an observation.” Ms. Baker started her instruction.
“Up until you have done enough research you should assume that your feet are as gross and disgusting as everyone else’s feet. That’s not something to be proud of now is it? In fact you should think twice about showing such a gross and disgusting part of yourself to others.” Ms. Baker continued, she hoped this command would make Lara very self-conscious about her feet. A self-consciousness that should prevent her from having someone slave away at her feet in the future.
“When you observe other women’s feet you will always feel that they are prettier than yours no matter what. You will always search for at least one point in which they are better than yours and that point will immediately define them as more perfect than your feet.” Ms. Baker continued, ensuring that Lara’s research would never lead to a conclusion that her feet were in fact less gross and disgusting than she found other’s feet. This would only lead to an increase in self-consciousness, making her even less likely to have someone see her feet much less slave away at them.
“Now whenever you want to insult someone you will that they deserve more respect since their feet are more perfect than yours. Instead of an insult you’ll pay them a compliment about their feet or as much as you can tell about their feet instead.” Ms. Baker commanded as an added bonus for this session.
That would be it for this session, but if everything worked according to plan this would be such a huge step forward. It would make Lara friendlier to people, even those she hated or felt justified giving a hard time. It would take away her biggest guilty pleasure in having people slave away at her feet. In most cases people would be wearing shoes so Lara would appear as more of a ditz when she complimented their shoes instead of insulting them, that or a pervert if she started giving specific feet related compliments, Ms. Baker thought it would be great either way. Being self-conscious and having the grosser feet would make her feel a little less superior towards others, that and the constant looks downward would make her appear a little more subservient. As an icing on the cake it would take yet a little more of her brain capacity.
After spending the remainder of the session enforcing this new command Ms. Baker was about to instruct her to leave her office once more when an idea hit her. Wanting to see the full extend of her latest command she just had Lara put her clothes back on before waking her up. While she wanted to have to converse with Lara as little as possible this was an exceptional situation. “So Lara, how are you feeling?” She asked, deciding to do the post session evaluation back in person. While she talked she was making a point out of dangling her pump of her foot.
“I feel great, absolutely amazing actually. These sessions have really helped me a lot during this last couple of weeks, but the long-lasting effects are staying out for now. I would love to continue these sessions though. Even without big long-lasting effects they have helped make me feel more relaxed than ever before.” Lara explained, a finger going up to her hair and playing with it as her gaze drifted down noticing the dangling shoe off of her therapist nylon covered foot. Although the look was subtle it was definitely more than a mere glance, especially to Ms. Bakers trained eye which knew what it was looking for.
“That’s great to hear Lara, if you’re patient this will yield results in the long-term. Right now I’m just glad it’s working so wonderfully for you so far. You’re in luck that you seem fairly receptive to this kind of therapy. In any case, that’s it for this evening. Have a good weekend and I’ll see you next Friday.” Ms. Baker said, deliberately making her shoe drop before slowly bending over and putting it back on. She hadn’t failed to notice how Lara’s eyes instantly went down to her foot the moment the shoe dropped.
Lara remained quiet a little longer than usual obviously taking in as much details of Ms. Baker’s foot as she could in the short time the shoe was off. When Ms. Baker slowly slipped the heel back on Lara quickly got up. “Yes, I’ll see you next Friday.” She said a slight nervous hint in her voice as she rushed out of the door, checking herself quickly in the waiting room mirror before heading to her car.
Ms. Baker broke out in a very broad grin the moment Lara left. It seemed that she had not only succeeded in her latest command, seeing other feet as more perfect than her own also seemed to make Lara stressed enough to play with her hair. This was simply perfect not only would she carefully observe other’s feet, she would look like a complete ditz doing it. This was way better than she had hoped for, the only pity was that she wouldn’t be able to read just what Lara wrote about her feet, how thorough her examination had been. She would definitely check it out on her next visit though, she would also have to think about a way of checking on her more regularly.
While Ms. Baker was thinking about her next steps, Lara had arrived at her car and was busy writing up her report. She didn’t know why really, but she had carefully studied her therapist’s feet and now she found the need to actually write down her observations. While this very unusual behaviour for her having appeared so close after having been hypnotised should raise an alarm, it didn’t. Her mind rationalised it as just wanting to be reassured that she had the most perfect feet worth serving.
Much to her dismay however she had to admit that Ms. Baker’s feet looked better than hers. In her report she wrote that she wished her toes became smaller in such a perfect way as Ms. Baker’s did. While her feet looked better in general, the main focus of her report was how Ms. Baker’s feet were more perfect just because of that one point even though they would score worse on many other points. That didn’t seem to matter much for the final judgement. Her report was pretty thorough as well going in-depth about the colour of Ms. Baker’s nails to even a guess to the dernier of her nylons. Having put it in a document called foot observations under a title with Ms. Bakers name and a subtitle with the date Lara drove off.
At home things were business as usual. Lara enjoyed a healthy dinner before getting ready for the quiz, leaving her lingerie just as it was while changing her business skirt suit for a dress. It was only upon her arrival at the bar where the quiz would take place that things took a strange turn once more. Romy had been the first like usual, but when she greeted her friend she couldn’t help but let her eyes wander down to her feet occasionally, trying to make a good observation.
While it was clear that Romy had dressed up for this night out it showed that she was also dressed for comfort. Unlike Lara who wore stiletto heels Romy had on a pair of black ankle boots with a low block heel. Although she had no way to properly judge what Romy’s feet actually looked like she still came to the distributing conclusion that her friend’s feet were prettier than hers. As there wasn’t much to see other than those ankle boots Lara didn’t feel the urge to look back however.
The same thing happened when Kelly arrived, then also when Charlotte arrived. Kelly was wearing sneakers with blue and white striped ankle socks while Charlotte wore a pair of black stiletto heels with sheer black nylons. Lara was not able to see much of their feet at all, yet she couldn’t help but conclude that all of their feet were more perfect than hers. It made her increasingly self-conscious about her own feet who she had thought were perfect till today. Every time she observed someone’s feet she played with her hair, stressed that she couldn’t find a pair of feet worse than her own, after Ms. Baker and now all of her friends she was starting to see a trend making her look for other feet even more frantically.
During the first half of the quiz Lara was rather distracted not participating as much as she used to. It was followed by a long time on the toilet when the break started. There she quickly wrote up all observations she had made, tittle entries where made for all her friends as well as unknown waitress one, two and three, the two women sitting at the table next to them and the female quiz master up on stage. Writing the nine entries she made she stayed on the toilet longer than the break lasted and as a result she missed the first three questions of the second half.
Her friends thought Lara acted a little strange, but when she was no longer distracted during the second round they just waved it away as being nothing. With no more new feet left to observe the quiz had Lara’s full focus again. Unlike last time Lara didn’t stay behind for drinks this time, instead excusing herself and heading straight home.
While she should be worried about her strange urge to observe the feet of other women and actually keep track of her observations that wasn’t what kept Lara busy. It was the fact that she didn’t have the perfect feet she thought she had, worst even, out of the ten observations she had made today she thought she had the worst feet at all. Objectively others would have pointed to hers as the nicest feet, or one of the nicest if put next to all the others, but due to the subliminal commands she herself couldn’t see that.
She was feeling surprisingly stressed already for it still being Friday an not having done anything that normally stressed her out. A quick session with her magic wand fixed that problem though. Apart from therapy sex toys and a good orgasm remained her fastest and most trusted way of stress relief.
Over the weekend her strange sudden obsession with feet remained strong. When she went in for her regular salon visit she actually surprised Rosa by telling her she only wanted her finger nails done this time. It was especially surprising to Rosa since she had gotten to know Lara pretty well over all her visits as her regular client. It hadn’t taken Rosa long to figure out that Lara especially liked having her pedicure, it had always been a little embarrassing having to working with Lara looking down on her with that superior smirk. Rosa had always felt like Lara liked her pedicure for the wrong reasons and she was right. Although embarrassing the money she got here made those nuisances worth it.
In that sense having to only focus on Lara’s fingernails and hair was a relief. It at least made her day a little easier. Lara on the other hand had had a hard time asking not to have her pedicure. Not only was it something she always looked forward to, it was also a change made due to a sudden pang of shame that someone would see her imperfect feet, especially Rosa whose feet looked better than hers in those pink sneakers and white ankle socks. So did the feet of the woman getting a pedicure next to her, and the one getting a pedicure on the other side of her along with their beauticians. Out of these five brand new pairs of feet she had just observed none looked worse than hers as far as she was concerned. Not only that, but being unable to play with her hair kept the stress that brought her alive.
Once out of the salon Lara made work out of writing down a very thorough observation on all the feet she had seen. While those of the beauticians was a pretty general one as they all wore the same soft pink sneakers, and white ankle socks as part of their uniforms. The women sitting beside her had their feet out enabling her to make very detailed descriptions.
The same thing happened over at lunch, only becoming stranger when she decided to go back to that boutique where that fat woman worked, dying to poke some fun at her. With her stress levels pretty high for a Saturday afternoon, Lara wasn’t planning on being subtle with her insults at all. The instant the assistant spotted her upon her arrival at the lingerie store a look of panic spread across her face, a look Lara loved as she instantly made her way to the woman before she could go off to do something else.
“Hey you, you’re going to help me pick out some new things. Oh and by the way, I love your pumps, they suit you very well.” Lara said wanting to call the woman fatty instead, but for some reason she felt compelled to instead compliment her feet or at least something to do with them. Them being more perfect than hers they deserved the respect. The pumps were nothing special, just navy leather, simply with a very low block heel. They weren’t elegant but part of the uniform. It was a huge surprise to the shop assistant to get a compliment for this woman, maybe she wanted to make amends? Still her shoes which she herself thought weren’t anything special were a bit of a strange thing to compliment.
While this instance where she wanted to insult this woman, complementing her shoes instead should raise another alarm Lara’s mind rationalised it as just being in aww that this woman’s feet were more perfect than hers as well. The compliments only got stranger as well as she complimented how nicely those opaque black tights enhanced her look and how she loved the curve of the top of her feet. After that last one she had given up on trying to insult her. The shop assistant was eventually left confused, but very satisfied. The compliments had been oddly specific, but nicer than all the snide remarks she had to endure last time. That and she had made quite a nice commission off of the five new sets of sexy lingerie thong and seamed stockings included that Lara had bought.
After her shopping trip Lara decided to just call it a day and have a relaxing film evening. Sunday she didn’t really bother leaving the house either. Instead she just had a healthy day working out and treating herself at home, making the stress of yesterday melt away. There were no feet to judge and the stress she had gotten of seeing all those feet more perfect than hers wasn’t long lasting at all.
Monday at work things started out terrible however. She arrived pretty much at the same time as her biggest rival Tina. Tina was slightly taller than Lara and very curvy. She was especially bottom heavy which Lara liked referring to as Tina’s fat ass. While her bottom and thighs sure were her heaviest part they remained fairly well proportioned. She had a mocha skin, hazel eyes and a full head of spiral curls reaching down to her shoulders.
The two of them had never really gotten along mainly because Tina had often argued against Lara. Tina had studied law to make a difference and help people while Lara had always just been in it to win. Lara didn’t discriminate between right and wrong, she just took on whatever case paid most and was best for her career. She had certainly achieved that being the fastest rising star this firm had ever seen while Tina worked her ass off often taking probono cases and ending up in a cubicle among the bulk of the lawyers while Lara had her own office.
They had both graduated with similar grades something Lara had had difficulties coping with at the start, but which she now liked to rub in as having made it way further with the same resume. While Tina didn’t mind that fact not wanting to change places for any money in the world if it meant just helping assholes secure their fortune and treating women as disposable goods. It still managed to piss her off simply because it made Lara feel like she was somehow better than her.
Having to go up to the same floor the two of them were pretty much forced to get into the same elevator, something neither of them really liked. Like was engrained in her behaviour by now Lara checked out her entire look in the elevator mirror, noticing that everything was still like it should be. Observing this Tina couldn’t help herself but let the words “Vain bitch” escape under her breath though loud enough for Lara to hear. She knew it would get her an insult in return and probably more than one but she didn’t care really care. Getting her Lara wound up and angry was fun in and of its own. Sure it was pity, but she didn’t care.
Annoyed and somewhat frustrated Lara wanted to reply with a witty insult, something along the lines of Tina needing to check herself out and take care of herself sometimes then maybe she could look nearly half as good as she did. Instead she ended up commenting on Tina’s pedicure which was visible through the not quite so professional peep toed pumps Tina was wearing. “I love your pedicure, that white really contrasts beautifully with your complexion and it looks marvellous through your sheer nylons.” Lara commented playing with her hair furiously much to her horror and Tina’s shock.
Although she had just been complimented Tina couldn’t help but blurt out. “What the fuck is wrong with you?” Lara complimenting her was just way too much out of the ordinary, especially on such a strange point? What the hell was Lara playing at here? There had to be something behind it, but what the hell could that be?
Trying to right her wrong Lara just ended up making the situation even worse by paying Tina another compliment. “Those shoes area also just so cute, they’re to die for.” She said just while Tina would have expected to get a hard time over wearing shoes like this which were not very professional, not that Tina cared as she didn’t have any cases at court anyways, she just always liked the peep toed style of heels.
Before she could make things any worse the elevator arrived at the floor they needed to be at and Lara rushed out straight to her office. She couldn’t believe she had paid Tina such compliments, her feet were just more perfect than hers and she hadn’t been able to help paying them the respect they deserved.
Tina was left very confused as well, what had happened was just so surreal and she didn’t know what to think about it. Something was going on and she worried it might be an elaborate scheme of Lara’s to get to her. She knew Lara well enough to know she could be very vindictive. Still she couldn’t figure out for the world of her how complementing her shoes or pedicure could be a scheme.
The remainder of the day and the following one went by quite normally apart from the fact that she was building a very substantial document on the feet of some clients and colleagues, some even had multiple date entries in the document by now. She didn’t end up complimenting anyone on their feet or shoes anymore though. After all Lara was smart and professional enough not to insult clients or colleagues. It had been a one-time thing with Tina since it had only been the two of them in the elevator on Monday morning.
Everything went pretty normal all things considered until she ended up alone in the elevator with Tina again Thursday evening. Tina didn’t know whether or not there was a scheme behind Lara’s compliments decided to play a more proactive role this time. With a big smirk she asked. “Hey Lara, what do you think of these shoes?” She asked, holding out the more professional black leather pointed toed pumps this time.
She could tell that this question made Lara uncomfortable and slightly angry yet she ended up getting another compliment. “They look wonderful, very elegant and professional.” Lara said much to her shock.
A shock she wanted to straighten out with an insult which turned in yet another compliment. “Those nylons are to die for as well, they greatly enhance your look and match your complexion so perfectly.” Lara said making Tina giggle.
“Thanks, it isn’t easy to find these mocha ones so I always order them in bulk. I have to agree though, they’re definitely worth it.” Tina exclaimed rotating her leg a little to give Lara good 360 view of them. She did notice that Lara mainly looked at her feet though. Now that she thought about it all compliments were related to her feet or things she wore on them, and then there was that constant playing with her hair as well. There was definitely something going on with Lara, something she loved exploiting. Overall Lara seemed to function pretty normally, but when they had been alone things had taken this strange turn. If she could figure out why that was then maybe she could take advantage of this in a way, even if that advantage was only tormenting Lara a bit.
Wanting to see just how far she could push this Tina slipped off one of her heels. “Look, they’re even designed without the reinforced toe and with the seam under the toes so I can perfectly wear them with my peep toed pumps.” Tina boasted showing both the top then the sole of her foot to Lara who looked somewhat disturbed yet couldn’t drag her eyes away from them, taking advantage of this moment to give them a full observation that wasn’t possible with shoes on.
Lara wanted to scream at Tina to get her feet out of her sight, but they were just too perfect, way more perfect than hers and as a result she couldn’t help but pay another compliment instead. “Their perfect indeed, your toes come out so wonderfully in them.” Lara said, the elevator arriving in the lobby right as she finished her sentence. Without another word she rushed out.
All the way to her car she had been playing with her hair nonstop, she couldn’t believe she had said those things, but they were true. At least how she saw it, being unable to see someone else’s feet as worse than her own. As much as she wanted to forget this encounter, she couldn’t help but write nearly a page long observation she had made of Tina’s feet.
The more Tina thought about what had happened first on Monday, and now today the surer she was that something strange was going on with Lara, in a good way though, having her rival pay compliments to her feet while getting insulted was hilarious. As hilarious as it was she knew that it wasn’t quite right though, she wanted to get to the bottom of this and to do so she started roaming Lara’s social media platforms.
After an evening worth of searching Tina came to a shocking conclusion. Although she wasn’t quite sure, she had a hunch that Lara’s therapist Ms. Baker had to be behind this. There was no real other explanation in her mind. The first hint she had found was a recommendation for the therapist, that led her to check out her website and many qualifications. One which was from a course she had taken on hypnotherapy. It was only a hunch, but it was about the only thing she could think of to explain Lara’s strange behaviour.
Wanting to confirm her hunch she decided to give Ms. Baker a call. If her hunch was right then this was highly unethical. It might be fun to see Lara taken down a couple of pegs, but she couldn’t really let such an unethical doctor run a practice, now could she? It simply wasn’t right, it wasn’t just which was something she highly valued. She didn’t dare think about how many lives this doctor might be ruining. No if her hunch got confirmed she simply had to stop this.
“Hello Ms. Baker, you’re talking to Tina. I’m a lawyer calling to discus one of your clients, Lara Carter’s therapy.” Tina spoke when she called Ms. Baker late at night on her cell phone. Ms. Baker was the only one still downstairs watching television, just about to go to bed when she received this phone call making her breath stock in her throat. She had been caught red handed. She knew all along that what she was doing was wrong and that it could land her in big trouble if it ever got found out. She had just never thought it would be found out. She had been careful in her programming to never let Lara trace her weird behaviour back to her sessions.
Images of a life in prison already flashed before her as she answered. “I don’t know what you are talking about.” She said trying to act stupid, covering up her tracks. The nervousness in her voice betrayed her involvement and pretty much confirmed Tina’s hunch as far as she was concerned.
“Oh I think you know what I’m talking about very well, Lara’s sudden obsession with feet, her constant playing with her hair,… Do I need to continue?” Tina asked pushing further striking more fear within Ms. Baker as she was able to give specific details of the unusual therapy.
It was a technique Ms. Baker should have seen through easily with her degree in psychology. She should know that there was nothing that could be proven against her unless she confessed. The high stress of the potential consequences she faced along with how tired she was severely clouded her judgement and as a result she burst out in a rant about how it had all been worth it and how Lara had deserved everything she had coming to her for the human trash she was treating her Megan like that.
Tina listened carefully to the whole rant, pleased at first to have unmasked this unethical doctor, but the more she listened and connected the dots the more she sympathised with Ms. Baker. She was doing this to Lara and Lara alone, that much was pretty clear. She did it out of a grudge and while it was still highly unethical the reasons why where the exact same reasons she and Lara had never gotten along.
What was happening in those therapy sessions was highly unethical, not reporting it basically made Tina an accomplish, but after hearing the whole story she didn’t really care. There was nothing substantial to be held against Ms. Baker so if it came to it she would even happily be her lawyer. The fact that this was only happening to Lara made it all justifiable in her eyes, cause while acting within legal limits what Lara did destroyed way more lives and hurt way more people. Tina wanted to see Lara fall for real and so she actually made a pact with Ms. Baker. She would be Ms. Baker’s eyes and ears in the office, observing the commands in action in a way Ms. Baker never could, she would put those commands to the test as well and she was going to love it.
Ms. Baker in turn would inform her of each command and her theories of how they could or should work. What had started as the most dreadful call of her life had now turned into something fantastic, with better observations she could tighten her grip on Lara, it would also be a delighted to have someone take advantage of Lara’s predicament and so over night an alliance was made.
While Tina and Ms. Baker had made a devilish agreement over night Lara was blissfully unaware when she woke up Friday morning. Her fate had taken a turn for the worst, but as far as she was concerned it was business as usual. Well apart from the fact that this was the most stressed she had been in a long time. Going to work she was already looking forward to her next session with Ms. Baker tonight.
