Caught something in your discussion: Kai doesn’t need the power of the coven to do the merge. It’s just that it’s a big deal and a celebration which is why when he first tried to merge with Jo he knew something was off, but it’s not necessary.

While the writing this season has been leagues above season 5, the stalling for time in saving Bonnie pissed me right the hell OFF! Not to mention Kai subduing Tyler & the BS imposter storyline. What the hell was even That?!

The only reason Damon and elena didn’t drive towards Bonnie or bloody VAMP SPEED is because the producers just want Bonnie to continue suffering. She got on the suffering train in season 4 and they aren’t taking her off😒🙄. Also I love how Damon puts elena in her place in this episode, not everything is about u, Damon is doing it for Bonnie😂. Also yep Tyler should have bodied Kai. Also I don’t know why elena let Kai just stroll up to her and drop the last piece in her hands 🤦🏾‍♀️. My guess for the S tier is Bonnie, she deserves it🙌🏽

As much as it sucks that Damon compelled Alaric, I actually appreciated that for once someone did whatever it took for Bonnie. I felt so freaking bad when she got left behind at the end.
