AYN THOR. So yeah, the “New 3DS” had dropped recently. This console is a great example of something I absolutely don’t need but still want. I have a SteamDeck, and it takes care of all my retro-gaming needs. I can’t play PlayStation 3 games on it, but for that I’m dreaming of getting an actual PS3 one day. I also have a Retroid Pocket 4, which serves as my dedicated PSP replacement, and I also play Snowbreak on it. In other words, I’m good. I don’t need the AYN THOR, honestly, I do not need it! I DON'T!!!... But it looks so cool. T_T
EDIT: Just to be clear, I did not buy an AYN THOR—the picture above is just a random pic I pulled off the internet. I’m just window-shopping here. ^^
SNOWPEAK. I’m slowly catching up on the Snowbreak story. Apparently, the girl who joined the roster in the previous update had to undergo an advanced medical procedure to survive, and because of the procedure’s side effects she’s now “experiencing certain urges” for any fluids containing the MC’s DNA. Right… SnowPEAK being SnowPEAK. Nothing new here. Moving on.

AI SLOP? For this week’s cover, I used a picture that was shared on my Discord by a user named WMayne. If you’ve played SC34, you know exactly which CG from the game it’s based on. What strikes me the most about this "AI SLOP" isn’t even how spot-on it is, but how detailed it is. The resolution of this picture is 4584×4800 pixels. 0_0 If you want to check it out for yourself, you can find the original in the attachment to this post.

Latest report: I haven't caved yet, didn't purchase the thing. Continue to tell to myself that I don't need it, which is true by the way. But I still want it T_T I also prefer original consoles, whenever it's possible. I still have my PSP that I use Persona sometimes and run GBA emulator on. And yes, since they don't produce old consoles anymore, eventually all of them will turn to dust, so it's nice that there are similar unofficial replacements out there. And yeah, I know about the whole glass thing. It also sucks that it has no stylus. But still it's one of the the best clamsheels right now. IMHO. I DON'T FUCKING NEED IT! GEEZ!

For real? Mine have been working perfectly for almost a year now (I think), but every now and then I wonder what will I do when inevitably one of the triggers or joystick fails. I didn't look it up or anything, by I really hope it's easy to replace. -_-

One of my friends pointed out that if you have the skills you can turn AI slop into legit art. I pointed out if you have the skills you can skip the AI slop part, lol.

Yeah, really tempted by the AYN THOR as well but I definitely don't need it either, haha. Prefer collecting the actual consoles and soft-modding them to be able to play on original hardware, but at the same time I don't want to wear out the hardware and having something like the Thor would be a good carry around replacement... Edit: One thing I will say about the Thor though that's a bit of a downer for me is the entire bottom is glass apparently, not just the screen area down there. So lot of fingerprints and such are going to show up...

Setting up emudeck was the first thing I did. The main reason I got SteamDeck was emulation ^_^

Have you setup emudeck on your steam deck? It's really easy and basically turns your steam deck into one of the best emulation systems out there. It even integrates your roms with your steam library. Will play prettyuch every console.
