I'm new to the patreon so I don't know a lot. However, I know it must have been hard for you to type this. You're an inspiration in my life. Thank you for all the hard work you pour into this world. Your courage and humility are admirable.

Hi Cap. I'm CultureBomb on the Discord. I can relate to the notion of your "trump card" because I have gone down that dark path myself. I can safely say that it's not worth it. Once you declare any level of intent to go through with it, it drastically and negatively changes your life and tarnishes every relationship you will ever have. The stigma alone is unbearable, not to mention anything else. Nobody you know will fully trust you ever again. I've been on several 72 hour holds and they are absolute hell. I live in Canada which as far as I know is the first country to decriminalize it when overseen by a doctor (I would use more precise language but I don't want this message to be flagged and removed). Though not for quite as long as you, I also identify as a trans woman. Up until a few months ago I identified as neurogender, which you don't need to understand beyond the fact it's a form of non-binary. I plan to go through with HRT once I have the financial means to bank sperm since I don't want to close the door on being able to sire biologically related children. I want to thank you for making such a phenomenal VN that has helped me explore my own experience of gender in a safe space, and has fostered such a well-intentioned, supportive, and often helpful community. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has such a sentiment of Re:Dreamer, nor do I think I'm the first to voice such praise. However, I think you need to hear something validating in this dark chapter of your life. Feel free to DM me if you need someone who can listen while being non-judgemental, and only offering advice if directly asked to provide it. I'm certainly no therapist, but I have been told by several people, family, friends, and otherwise that I'm a good person to talk to when one simply needs someone to listen.

Oh, I wanted to add that the setup and speech route for coming out to your parents tends to make things more difficult. There's all the build up and expectation, and at least to boomers and gen x that's gonna prime them for strong reactions. Nonchalantly just dropping that you're a woman now probably isn't going to suit your feelings at this point, but a lower key reveal that's more conversational generally gets a lower key freakout from parents.

If you ever want to DM me in Discord, please feel free to do so. However, I only check Discord ever so often, so it is possible that it would be a bit before I replied.

Hi Captain. I am Amethyst Dragonfly on Twitter. I have told some about myself in there. I actually have to battle my *shyness in a group", and use a bit of a mask to do that. This is easier because I can convince myself that I am talking only to you. I emphasize with you on the unusually rapid breast development and having to hide them as I went through that after I started HRT while still closeted at work. I understand your frustration about others envying all of your changes when you weren't expecting them. I also understand what it feels like to have PMS when you know that there's no purpose in it for you because there's no way to get pregnant. I also have OCD, but not as bad as you have described yours. There are gaping dissimilarities between our experiences, and I would probably be horrible at any advice that I even tried to give. But I do offer you what support I can. Please, please don't end your life, no matter what.

Hey Cap it’s Samanthalouise, so I just want to say I relate to what you’re going through In regard to your parents and how they treat you different and worse than your sister. I feel the same way about mine, I always felt they loved her more, trusted her more. I’ve been in my own place for 12 years now and paid all my own bills. Whenever I see my parents I always hear them asking if I’m having money troubles, if they need to pay off my mortgage and then I can pay them back so I don’t lose the house. Don’t wait till we see the foreclosed signs on the lawn. It’s so incredibly hurtful, do they ask my sister if she’s having money trouble? Is that the first thing they ask when they see her? No! I’m always the fuck up or the one about to fuck up. She’s trusted and every decision of mine is doubted. So while the specifics differ I know the pain of feeling your parents love your sibling more than you. Just wanted to let you know you’re not alone with that. 🫂

I don't fully relate to all of those issues, but generally feeling misunderstood, absolutely not getting anything positive out of stuff other people mean to be complimentary or at least pleasant, and feeling like I'm a giant bag of shit for not being happy about my blessings is all extremely relatable. I know this isn't much, but it has usually been the best my brain will accept: you don't have to feel like that, but it's ok and even kind of normal that you do.

Damn Cap I fear for you l, hopefully the worst won't happen, do stay safe, holding my thumbs for you. - Lenore.
