I fairly recently lost a friend to cancer. He was only 21 and had just graduated from a super prestigious acting school. Just the nicest guy and so full of life. He was also the son of a family friend and I'm super close with his mom so it was tough all around. I say to say that I empathize with your pain and understand what an emotional roller coaster it can be. Take all the time that you need and know that many of us are with you in spirit.
