On What I'm Currently Working

I am thrilled to share some exciting updates about the progress of our game! The main menu functionality is now up and running smoothly, thanks to the implementation of the Unity UI Toolkit. While it was quite a learning curve and there were numerous new concepts to grasp, I'm pleased to say that I've managed to master most of it. Although there might be some re-arranging and the need for new sprites later on, the core functionality and fundamentals are complete.
Currently, I'm hard at work on the starting cutscene for the game. Progress is being made, but I must admit that the attention to detail is proving to be quite challenging. However, I'm determined to deliver a captivating opening that sets the stage for an amazing gaming experience.
With the new game and intro, some changes will be made to the background story. I want to clarify that Lacto will remain as she always was - a girl character, and there won't be any alterations to her like in the original version.
Now, for some visuals, I'd like to showcase the incredible work done by ArionWay. He has diligently reworked many levels of the game and recreated them beautifully in terms of design. Unfortunately, due to licensing issues with RPGMaker tiles, we had to start from scratch using new ones. Nevertheless, this has given us the opportunity to breathe life into every element of the game. For instance, the lamps are now interactive and can be turned on and off, and the fire in the room emits a warm glow accompanied by the comforting sound of burning wood.

hehe, in the moment the team is writing a gamedesign/plan document how the game will finaly be played and how it will look on the end. it will take a while because we are not sure about some points like, "should a fighting system exists and then yes, how can it look?" or about some remaking of the maps(the first room with the statue and coin) to made it more clear what the game want and how to solve the stuff. i can upload some picturs of the existing maps but its sadly very WIP and can change drastically over the time. meanwhile other system like moving with mouse is in the build and maybe i cann soon make a video of it.
