Hey gang!
God I didn't think I'd get this out on time, so I'll do a proper description when the video goes up on YouTube. Thanks for readinnnng :)
Thank you all so much for supporting me on Patreon, gang. I did the whole "What do you want" poll earlier this week to make sure I'm not way off base with what I'm spending my time on (splitting my time between) and I'm glad to see the percentages were about where I thought/hoped they'd be. DSD season 2's on the way (May/Juneish I think, but there's lots of things happening atm) I want to do a proper update video, but any time I spend on that is time I'm not spending on just making it, so yeah. But once again, thank you so much for your support gang. Couldn't be doing any of this without you all xoxox

This is seriously impressive, Blue! I'd love to see a behind the scenes on how you did the hands animation! Also I love how Willie's disappointed that Nathan isn't a real sailor boy.

The rotoscoped slip knot animation is such a genius move

The SHAKING as he makes that knot! The rage is visceral :)

Willie said "loop" so many times I thought he was eventually going to be out of the "loop".

Contrasting :50 where the animation gets so real vs 1:35 where you see almost nothing, but just FEEL the struggle of Willie wrestling Nathan to the ground to get ahold of the needles. And both are peak.

The animation on that knot... MAGNIFICENT

I keep saying this, but this might be my new favorite one, DBI π€£ the audio is wonderfully curated, the emotions are so well executed, and the rotoscope jumpscare?? Itβs just that easy folks π (I started rolling, it was so smooth, and jarring, I just lost it)

I hate that my first thought to try and be funny was "To knit, first you grab your Willy- WAIT NO THAT'S BAD CUT THAT"

Holy shit that was amazing. When the close up stitch started I was like "dear god Deep Blue's ACTUALLY ANIMATING IT." Also I have tried to knit multiple times and I utterly fuck up every time. My mom does it when WATCHING TV, just not even looking at what she's doing. All I can do is the same knots I did for friendship bracelets when I was 10. ANYHOW. That was magnificent and I thank you for it, sir. :)
