I spend about 50 hours every month on Patreon's work. The average monthly donation from Patreon is $100-140. It is one-third of the Korean hourly minimum wage, so it can be said that the profit is very small.
Nevertheless, there are three reasons why I continue to do this activity.
Reason 1. This is to study 3D technology to prepare for my future.
Reason 2. I feel a little sorry for those who have supported me for a long time to make the choice to quit suddenly because it was difficult.
Reason 3. This is a part to satisfy my personal sexual desire. But now the two reasons I wrote before are much bigger.
I have recently had an inquiry about commissions. I've been thinking about commissions for a long time. It's not that I decided to take a commission. I want to hear the opinions of my supporters, so I'm uploading this post for communication instead of a full-fledged voting post. Commission works will only be made available to the public. As in the past, I keep one concept work that I work on every month.
Advantages of commissions: It can reduce the burden of my work activities a lot. Right now, I'm thinking about the right to vote for clothes, glasses and shoes, and to register as a candidate for the sex position of the monthly main work. (It seems that 1$ sponsors will only be given the same voting opportunity as the present.)
Disadvantages of commission: Instead of the B version work and low-quality (?) works that are carried out once every two months, I work on commissions. (Of course, I will proceed with the B version as planned in December.)
Please leave a comment if you have any ideas for additional $2 and $5 benefits for our sponsors. And do I need to make extra tiers like 10$, 30$ etc?
저는 매월마다 대략 50시간을 Patreon 작품활동에 사용하고 있어요. Patreon에서 얻는 매월 평균후원금은 $100~140 인데요. 대한민국의 시간당 최저임금의 3분의 1수준이라서, 매우 적은 수익이라 할 수 있습니다.
그럼에도 제가 이 활동을 지속하는 이유는 3가지인데요.
이유1. 저의 미래를 준비할 수 있는 3D기술을 공부하기 위해서 입니다.
이유2. 제가 힘들다고 해서 갑자기 그만두는 선택을 하기에는 오랫동안 후원해준 분들에게 조금 미안합니다.
이유3. 저의 개인적인 성적 욕망을 해소하기 위한 부분 입니다. 하지만 이제는 앞에 작성한 2가지 이유가 훨씬 더 커졌습니다.
최근 커미션에 대한 문의가 있었습니다. 저도 예전부터 커미션을 생각하긴 했는데요. 커미션을 받기로 결정한 것은 아닙니다. 저의 후원자분들의 의견을 들어보고 싶어서 본격적인 투표글 대신에 소통을 위한 이 글을 업로드 해봅니다. 커미션 작품은 대중에게 공개가 가능한 작업만 진행할 예정이고요. 예전처럼 저는 매월마다 작업하는 1가지 컨셉의 작품을 그대로 유지합니다.
커미션의 장점: 저의 작품활동에 대한 부담을 많이 줄일 수 있다는 점입니다. 당장에 저는 옷과 안경과 신발에 대한 투표 그리고 매월 진행하는 메인작품의 섹스 체위에 대한 후보등록을 할 수 있는 권한을 생각하고 있습니다. (1$후원자분들은 현재와 비슷한 투표기회만 주어질 것 같습니다.)
커미션의 단점: 2개월에 1번씩 진행하는 B버전 작업과 낮은 퀄리티(?)의 작업들 대신에 저는 커미션 작업을 진행합니다. (물론 저는 12월에는 B버전을 계획대로 진행합니다.)
추가적으로 2$와 5$ 후원자분을 위한 혜택에 대한 아이디어가 있으신 분은 댓글을 꼭 남겨주세요. 그리고 제가 10$, 30$ 등의 추가적인 티어를 만들 필요가 있을까요?

I've seen other creators make a higher tier that offers suggestions for scenarios or positions at the $15 to $20 range

You put almost everything you make out to the public, for free. You should make less videos public. Keep more for Patrons only. Maybe $2 or $5 tier would get access to interesting variations. Perhaps they could make character suggestions. Maybe for voting, $5 Patrons' votes count for more than $1 Patrons. Commissions will certainly add to your work. Also, you may burn out by doing many similar commissions, without being able to be creative on your own.

taking commisions would a be a ood idea to get some funds and your name out there more. i am perfectly okay with commisins.you can offer dicounts at your higher patreon levels too.
