It's probably due to the slime not being a proper custom character as it's missing instances that are required to create it, it's also a bit outdated at this point I recommend trying to set it up with a tutorial or a guide: - https://devforum.roblox.com/t/custom-characters-guide/2825528 And using Roblox's default character controller

Hi, I have a problem with the slime model. I thought it would be easier to just copy all the files related to the model from the .rbxl link, but when I press play, the slime seems to have physics, but it looks like it has no gravity it starts floating backwards and I can't move, although I can still jump. I checked the console, but none of the errors helped me figure it out. Maybe there’s some configuration or setup I was supposed to do before using the model? Do you have any idea what could be causing this? Maybe it's missing a script or a setting related to gravity or collisions?

Sure, I you can use the character for whatever you'd like And I'll upload the file tomorrow when I'm on my pc

Can I get the obj file of the slime character? Is it okay if I use this to make a game?

The physics seem fine when the avatar is in the workspace, so you'd need to describe it more, and for it breaking after publishing the game, unfortunately I don't have a solution or an idea on what might cause it
