We weren't sure where exactly to go with this - discussion of the latest and greatest boardgames on a separate show might infringe on the remit of the regular podcast, and cause some folks to feel like they're missing out. So, instead, we've opted for doing a selection of podcast mini-series(es) where we tackle one broader topic in smaller slices.
This first mini-series will be on CONVENTIONS - 'Bonus Baggage!'... Well, maybe there's a better name - swing me an email and I'll make it happen.
This first episode has myself (Tom) and Matt chatting about Essen Spiel - but also about kebabs (a lot).
Expect these episodes to be a bit looser, a bit chattier, a bit less focused than normal - we're
feeling out exactly what we want all this stuff to be!

Germanfans like me do exists. But I guess language is a big barrier of getting to know you. There are A LOT of German Boardgame youtubechannels and enough buzz around the Messe that they not need you. And there are enough german fans to make the German version of Earthborne Rangers being sold before I could order one. 😟

Really great bonuscast! And a really interesting take on Essen too. Personally I've never been but I've attended quite a few conventions in Italy and I can recognize some aspects of it while others are completely different. Would really love to hear your thoughts on one of our italian conventions if you get the chance! <3
