The Infinite Review / 12 / Japan (and Sonic Curry)

You might notice some pumpkins here and there, as this was mostly shot during a trip taken last October. Since then I've really wanted to put something together for an Infinite Review and I am delighted with the result.
I must give thanks to my friend and guinea pig Richie for all his assistance with this one, as well as Sean and the whole Japan 2018 CREW for sharing their footage with me, as well as helping to make the trip as wonderful as it was.

It's actually okay to spit in the blessing water. The primary use for that water at Shinto shrines is to wash one's hands and mouth before entering. It's very ritual these days, with our modern knowledge of hygenics, so most people just splash the mouth a little bit or not at all. Still, I've seen more than a few Japanese folks take in and spew out a whole mouthful.
