Gotta say this remind me of a lot of the oldschool horror comics i used to read. It is looking amazing.

I think it fits in this story, a super serious and macabre tone. I did look for more "today" references but now the horror in manga resumes to ghosts and jumpscares and I needed something more visceral and powerful. So, i found the style from the early tales from the crypt the right choice. Trust me, it will pay off!
