lol. I’m looking forward to seeing that bird heavy film 😉. Also, Scott Pilgrim is a fun movie, I should watch it again. Hopefully the anime will be good. As for music battles, there aren’t too many places to see them. Off the top of my head there is Kung Fu Hustle, FLCL (sort of), and possibly Metalocalypse (I haven’t seen much of it and that was years ago). Also, Library of Heaven’s path touches on music cultivators a bit. It doesn’t go into as much detail as I do but it’s still pretty good.

Great chapter! Very interesting discovery 🧐 In other news, I just watched the Scott Pilgrim for the first time in a while, and also read the comics for the first time (in prep to watch the anime soon). Not nearly as much music fighting as I remember. So I'm very happy to read this. Anyone got any recs for music fighting stuff? Written, graphic novel, TV, or movie, anything. Cause this type of thing is so fun. Speaking of Bird Heavy, I just watched the Boy and the Heron. That movie is pretty bird heavy, too 😅

lol. Actually, one of my favorite parts of that story is the very beginning where she isn’t sure what the average student is capable of so she just does whatever the person in front of her does. She just didn’t know they were geniuses. Lin, however, was more interested in Xianxia than JLN so this isn’t something she’d be overly familiar with. Which is why I added it. Lin likes planting flags… usually the formation type though.

"Oh! Brilliant! I knew I could count on this brat. And I was fairly positive this wouldn’t backfire on us." Do you know Miles of "Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?!" Copying someone works perfectly, unless he is the best of the class.

A song that makes you think you are "traveling down the desert to seek enlightenment" makes me think more of "A Horse With No Name".
