Little bit of unintentional villain. Little bit of Mr. Freeze wanting to cure his wife. Unfortunately, when that new phone connected to a cell tower or wifi, it left a fingerprint, linking it with her home. More she uses it like that, the stronger the link. Once the powers-that-be link that phone to Crusher, they can trace it right to her home and identity. Big Data is the other half of the surveillance state. She should keep it as far from her usual haunts as possible, and maybe just replace it frequently, if she can. Interesting premise, I'll keep reading.

Why do i feel she isnt going to join the "good guys". Either way, damn good story so far. Im guessing she is called a villain right away and they ignore her trying to explain herself as a new powered.

I love this so far. If I’m understanding it correctly this worlds hero’s are forced to be part of the WHA or else. Probably for regulations and awareness sake as well as training new hero’s up even if that whole process sounds annoying. I also wonder if your hero appearance matters to be a hero. Like say your power manifests to make you a monstrosity. Are you just automatically unwanted cause it’s not good for PR or does that even matter if your useful
