Hey peeps, sorry I haven't made my usual start of the month update post. With all the crap happening and some failures on my part I'm trying to do my best to wrap up some client work so I can properly begin on all my plans for this month. I'll outline those things in a later post. Once again if you're been waiting for an update, sorry i'll have one soon. If you'd like to ask direct questions please do so on discord!
Alright, so while i was working on other stuff for now, I decided I would experiment a bit on testing some optimizations to put on Android and WebGL devices. Cause I really want visual parity between the two. And yeah it turns out it was mostly an optimization issue. Thanks to the purchase of "Mesh Baker" on the unity asset store it's now possible to have significantly improved visuals on android devices!
This is currently only with very light optimization as there was a compatibility issue i need to resolve so i can optimize textures and materials used and not just objects. Still the performance on my phone seemed solid, so i know i can do a lot better!
Here's some images! These visual improvements should apply to WebGL too but i'm not able to test that yet. I could only spare part of a day to do this much.
Here's some images! All images were screenshots taken from my phone.

This is how the title screen used to look on android and WebGL
Any issues?
Yeah absolutely lol. As i said i couldn't dedicate much effort to this for the moment. But these issues will be fixed in the future.
- New 3D camera only Kinda works with touch, you can still tap and drag to rotate, but you cannot pan. You can zoom with a two finger drag up and down, but it's very wonky. When i commissioned this camera i did not specify touch compatibility but there's a system for it i think will work that I already own. Shouldn't be a problem in the future.
- Reflections in the living room are a bit wonky. You might have noticed in the last image there's a glow coming from the floor, that's because it's reflecting the upstairs patio window...I have a possible solution for this but it will take some time.
- Not the greatest performance, but it's gonna get there.
- Buttons for nudity or the camera may still be off screen on curved displays I promise to address this properly soon once I have a proper test environment for it.
- Phone may fall asleep during play, will work on a solution for this.
Besides fixing the above future experiments include things like limiting display resolution and such to improve performance on lower end devices.
Thats all for now, promise to make a proper update soon.
Thanks for your support!
