"Everything the Queen makes is better" is a dangerous way of thinking, she will want to nip it in the bud before is too late. It makes for rapid adoption now, but soon it will lead to stagnation of Bunny culture if they refuse to innovate.

Only now on a reread I caught that Tanya has been ordering her water to be boiled to be safe to drink. Good practice, specially for people on the move. I wonder if it is another of those practices that is more common with the kids growing up on it.

Nice, transition chapter, we get enough information to keep making guesses, and the usual Tanya misunderstanding field, at work. From Lucia's words and the reactions of the other bunnies Tanya is well on her way to being made a holy figure again... They simply seem to be enamored with her, and the changes she brings to her people. (and as always it looks like she will only realize this until its too late ) For example i really liked the comment about the watery ink compared to the black bricks Tanya makes, The famous Japanese ink stones I guess. A very subtle but useful way to show that she's been changing her people little by little and having them think that everything that the Queen makes is better. And I think that's one of the best things she can do, give her killer bunnies other things to do, other things to learn, develop, and love besides just fighting. I know right now it would be hard to teach them because of he dire situation but, I can easily imagine her having as many of her people as she can gathered and given some kind of TED Talks (As a HR person and a commander she's used to presentations) where she can explain concepts or teach them new things. A very easy one for example its to teach them radio Taiso a very common Japanese routine of morning exercises to keep them limber and work better in the morning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6ZRH9Mraqw I'm sure that while some of the older generations will not take them easily the younger ones would love to learn all the new things the Queen has to teach them.

The honour duels will be fleshed out more later but without spoiling anything, effectively the previous Queen was unwilling to compromise or to surrender and Tanya was unwilling to leave any questions hanging over her head or invite any challenges to her rule.

So Tanaoi culture required Tanya to literally drink from her family Skull to establish dominance?

I liked the chapter, I wonder it those wyvern knight masks might end up a fashion statement in a similar vein of Mujahideen fighters had with the AK-74u. You know sort of “I took down a Helicopter (or in this case a Wyvern) look at how much of a bad ass I am”

Interesting, it seems that writing is antithetical to bunnies (or at least this one in particular) seeing how doing that makes them anxious. edit: Rereading it, it seems the frustration came more from using "subpar" equipment instead. I also wonder how much of the exhaustion came from Tanya's "underwhelming" mana reserves and how much is from her making up that spell in the most " bruteforce " and inneficient way possible.
