We are getting closer to completing the roadmap
🕑 Added 2023-09-20 14:15:47 +0000 UTCWe are getting closer to completing the entire roadmap list! I still can't believe it, many of the functions have already been applied. The only thing missing is the most complex one, which is searching for bots from other users. I had left it almost until the end, because it requires a complex system of labels and more. But this system is not going to be alone. From the tags and the obligatory "curation", the system will add those bots in the main screen page so it can be customized with all these new bots. A recommended bot system, similar to... you know, there (There that system sometimes works and sometimes doesn't). Oh! Unfortunately the generation and recognition of images by the AI will continue disabled.
Anyway, the service has given some problems and probably more problems will occur, eek. But I'm going to list the most important thing that I can remember I did and I did not yet.
Some changes made
- I have added the search button in the list of choosing characters. It's a small button, which is quite useful when there are many bots. This same button can also be found in party mode. And it performs the same function.
- Favorites list now loads fully. It is no longer necessary to press a show more button.
- Party list now loads faster!
- Improvements to the memory capacity of gray label messages.
- Chats now can have a title. Similar to ChatGPT.
Still need to be corrected
- There is a strange error that when sending a message in a new chat, a character other than the one shown is chosen. It is probably the not yet enabled option of pre-selected character profile.
- The party list still needs the grid mode button, like the one in character select.
- Because I am a lazy cat, the problem of creating a party before starting a chat... I haven't addressed that problem yet. Maybe I'll fix it soon.
- I must add Edit user messages!
- The way to show the messages options, as swipes. Or show a line to make it easier to know where is the last message.
- My health, and sleeping times.
- Hardware upgrades. It been like... 6 months? We have reached 25% the money to buy that one big and expensive GPU I like to call Purrary. (the price of the GPU did go UP! due NVIDIA market demand and tax regulations of the government of Argentina). 1% of the money collected are from the donation money back in January and February. THANK YOU! We still collecting money *sobs*
Next steps
There is much to do, much to fix. And a lot of service maintenance to be done in the future. But here I put a poll to know what approach should be taken.
I will explain each of the options.
The first, Search community bot, refers to the entire complex system of searching for bots from other users who have decided to share their creations with everyone on the website. This system will take time to develop, and will consist of applying labels, reviewing the content so that it is suitable and well cataloged and thus protect other users from malicious acts.
E-Mail login is basically adding a magic link system, similar to the one on Tumblr. Password-less login. The AI might use that E-Mail to send you stuff... idk. *I'm starting to think about how to blackmail you so that you pay for the subscription.*
Mobile App... I've been thinking about this for a few days now, it will probably take me a lot of time to get something. Since I haven't made a new App in years. And sadly I don't have an IPhone. They are so expensive! Also, there is a fee to pay annually to get an Apple developer license. So, it will be only for Android at first.
Desktop App... The same thing, I haven't made an App in years, but it is much easier to make a desktop App than a mobile App. The advantage of using an app is that... is there any advantage? lol Oh yes! the advantage similar to an app like MSN was. I kind of miss that software... *Tries to install MSN* Oh no, Bonzi!

I got everything I needed with party mode, but searching community bots could be fun. I wouldn't mind getting to see how people interact with my public bots so I can learn how I can improve them and make them more responsive.

Hello. There is already an option to make them private. But, the process of publishing a bot to the community requires a prior verification process so that it is suitable for sharing. So it won't be public until you press the special "deploy" button that has not yet been implemented.

I’d say the green messages (different blue Color now) are really good, however they seem to make a lot of mistakes when writing, like it doesn’t feel like a roleplay conversation anymore just a random response, although I will say it definitely feels more lifelike at some parts and it uses more info about the bot (like hair Color) I’d say return back to normal blue messages but maybe make a button for green messages that says like “experimental mode” or something.

Yeah green was there yesterday before the server shut down and restarted, you can see in the list of comments when somebody said the server was down, it was right before that.

As I understand: Blue is the main Ai, Grey is the backup Ai, Pink is when the main Ai stops and the backup Ai takes over midway. I'm not sure about green, but I've seen someone say it had to do with the bandaid. It's new to me.

Earlier whenever you would enable the band-aid option, you'd get green messages, which were practically band-aid messages but way more coherent. Now they seem to be gone. if there's any way to get those back, that would be amazing
