Road to Golden Demon 2024: Part 1
🕑 Added 2024-07-07 18:58:53 +0000 UTC*Edit* Re-uploaded due to missing part of the end of the video.
Hello everyone, apologies for the lack of updates recently. There's been a lot of stuff happening behind the scenes, including illness & having to fully rebuild my PC but also the happy addition of a new kitten to the home but I have managed to get some progress on my main and largest Golden Demon entry for this year, Trugg! The next part is also filmed and mostly edited so it will follow very soon. Looking forward to getting back to regular content on here and there is so much to get done before October so it's going to be an intense few months ahead. I am also hoping to get something quick out in between all the GD content for the recent Skaventide release once I can get my hands on the new miniatures. Thank you to everyone who stuck around and supported during this time I am very much dedicated to getting out more and better content in the coming months to try to make up for it.

Mesmerising. Looking so good even at a reasonably early stage. Love the close up camera shots of the highlight stages. I could swim in that wet palette - great to see those close ups as well. Seeing all the beautiful work on the shell and stone I can't wait to see the head! 100% Worth the wait dude!

Hey Sascha, it's a Winsor and Newton Series 7 Miniature Size 1, they are really good for fine detail work. I absolutely love the Greyseer and will for sure be painting one at some point, it's a bit too detailed for a full video at the moment however so I plan on doing one of the Clanrats in the next couple of weeks instead. I want to see if I can match the skin tones and metallics so there might be something useful there!

Thank you Toni!

Thanks a lot! I love that stone recipe, can’t wait to give it a try!

Hey Stuart, yeah it's currently reuploading due to it cutting off part of the end of the video. It should be finished soon, apologies for that!

Don’t know if patreon being annoying but I just have your logo and play button but shows video time as 0:00

Thank you so much for this awsome video. Leather, wood and stones are my most loved elements. May I ask which brush do you use for fine lines? Any chance that you can paint the Grey Seer from the Skaventide Box I think the true metall parts like the bell he is standing on, the sword and brass staff are so interesting.

Beautiful stone, wood and leather with nice relaxing music. What is there more to ask for 😃

Hey Dave, at 38:26 you're talking about applying the glazes of doombull brown and it abruptly ends. I'm pretty sure the video is basically over at that point, but just FYI

Hey Michał I normally use Vallejo Airbrush Thinner, I find I get good results with this alone.
Michał Tyborowski
Hi Dave. Can I ask what you use to thin citadel paints for airbrush? Water or something specific?
Bertrand Bloc'h (bbl)
Thanks anyway Dave, take care!! <3

No worries, Dave. Life happens. Best wishes and good luck! 🤘
