I think perhaps just slightly too much for the skin on this video, about equal parts paint to water should be fine usually. You want a nice smooth and even coat without too much watery paint sitting in the recesses.

Always a pleasure to see one of your videos, that brush control is just chefs kiss! A small question, how much do you dilute your paints for a a base coat?
