Hello Leonid. I don't tend to fix pigments because it tends to change the finish, I quite like the dry dusty look it gives to the base. Provided you work the pigment into the texture and crevices of the base it shouldn't come off. Most of the time I only ever handle the miniature by the base rims. If you do wish to fix them you could use a varnish. And yes the miniature is glued to the base afterwards using superglue, I recommend leaving the area clear where the feet are going to be or gluing it prior to adding the agrellan earth or sand etc. You can hide any glue with pigment or tufts.
