Hi there new to patreon, normally I never was a fan of 40k dark angels, for some reason I just couldn’t get the right green result etc but after seeing this I’m amazed!! this is by far the best tutorial out there and painted by a official expert/professional I’m gonna have to slowly practice this scheme for sure !! What would be amazing is if you did a horus heresy era dark Angel tho I’m not sure if that would be your black templar armour or if the colour Varys somehow?. I’d also love to see a deathwatch marine painted again provided it’s not the same as your black Templars tutorial. Thanks Dave your videos are top tier and my favourite for learning happy painting pal 😁

Watched some other painters stuff like the mighty brush, but I think I'll go with this one instead. Best tutorial yet! I wonder if someone could one day annotate an image of a Space Marine showing exactly where to place the brightest highlights, i.e. if it was an Ultramarine, where to place Fenrisian Grey on legs, chest, backpack etc.

They are actually from the old GW basing kit. If you are in the UK it might be worth looking on Rival Crafts, super cheap and good quality basing materials.
