I dunno. Casting seems like a lot of work, a lot like math. A lot of people have a visceral reaction to math, and it isn't a positive one. I expect anyone on this 'Unraveling Magic' thread, or at least that made it all the way to part 4, is heavily self-selected for people with more math-science affinity. Billionaires might be reading the economics and history books that Sylvia read.

ResearchKing et al approaching magic through bootlegs of Sylvia’s skillset… clearly setting themselves up where the logical meta path is to join team witch down the line…

Kinda funny that Sylvia is probably biasing the other system users a lot toward casting, given how much the initial system resources are shaped by things she’s chosen to learn. The big players will likely shake up in time (Deep Pockets has to hit a point where he can’t lose more liquidity for one, though it’s possible the billionaire’s spending money more to brute force whatever Lucifer might want done via soft power or economics on earth than spending points on raw merits at this point, or that the system brakes assets too). But a lot of the early leaders may be able to stay pretty far ahead of the curve, and their skill sets and interests will roughly start from Sylvia’s areas of knowledge.

To most citizens, one lord is basically the same as another. Who taxes them won't make a big difference. They won't personally benefit regardless which faction wins. They'll just play at war, possibly die for a few weeks, rebuild, then work under the victor. The academy is the only real thing at risk here.

The forums section was lots of fun to read. Emily here seems to care more about the romance of a witch academy then the actual building or people, and rip the forgotten citizens of Vallen. XD Thank you for the chapter and eagerly awaiting the day of the next!

Forum sections do seem to be popular and now that Sylvia has forum access there will be more of them. Sometimes I even use them in ending sections as to inform the audience: 'And this is what happened elsewhere.' Migration does get into the start of the city/civ building. The big parts, though, get rolling in "Arc: V". I did promise "Politics, economics, and kingdom building" in my blurb and now you're finally get into the part of the story where you encounter it.

Forum access! I have a strange fondness for forum elements in storues, dont ask me why. This section had me laughing, and also I love the introduction of new characters purely through their forum interactions. I think id like this researcher guy in particular. Here's hoping we get more interaction with the other gamers where Sylvia can flex her suffering upon the material realm plebs. Also, Emily and Sylvia are so cute together the sweetness is giving me a toothache. A pain I bear willingly cause come on man! They're just adorable! Huge fan of the city/civ building tone this is taking as well. I'd love to read about time and effort being put it developing this new plain. I want to see Sylvia put those new magical construction skills to work.

I love how big these chapters are. And yay, the girls are reunited.
