The last time - if you’ve ever heard any of Snow Patrols other songs, they’re all sung super mellow and monotone like this but they’re actually pretty good. They were pretty popular around the time this album came out. I actually forgot Snow Patrol existed before now, and Red is the first and only Taylor cd I ever bought 😅

You hit the nail on the head as far as the record goes. This was her transition record from country to pop. She was only able to include a few pop like singles. For the record to still be considered country. She enjoyed it so much that she decided to do 1989 as a pop album. As far as 22 goes. During ATW she sings about turning 21 and I think that she made that song for herself. Kind of as a healing song to get over the whole Jake thing. Now I could be wrong, feel free to correct me.

"Holy Ground", "Sad Beautiful, Tragic" and "Lucky One" are some of my favorite Taylor songs and I always hope that a new listener will find them just as amazing. When I listen to HG I feel alive. It's hard for me to describe and explain why but it's one of those songs that I dance to when I'm alone and scream the lyrics along with Taylor. I hope you'll listen to this song again off camera. You're such a positive and genuine person and I always watch you with a smile on my face. I'm also glad that you checked out "The Lucky One" aka "Clara Bow" part 1. And yes, most of Taylor's songs have a "deeper meaning".

Back around when this initially came out, people didn't all have GPS on their phones/in their cars. So... if you were going to the same place and didn't know the directions, like if you were on a first date that you both drove separately to, you'd follow them in your car. 💀
