Jaxson! I wanted to interrupt you so many times during this reaction! You were so funny and hit the nail on the head so many times! Simon was putting a band together from the jump! Niall and Louie fit the look and dynamic of the band he was building around Liam. So they were “good enough” singers but perfect for the band. Simon’s other boy band, Westlife, were breaking up and he wanted to replace them. The other truth that I hate to admit is that Simon didn’t think Liam could carry a solo career because he was too uptight. He had a great voice but was kind of lacking in personality. He put them together and the rest is “HISTORY”. Both Liam and Harry had relationships with the female judges. Some called it grooming but Liam was 21 when he got with Cheryl and had his son Bear but Harry was only 17 when he started dating Caroline Flack. She was 31. They wanted Harry to be the sex symbol and some have said they believe this situationship was to help him grow into that role. It took a long time before Niall and Louie were given fair play in the band. People called Zayn the human echo during X Factor. I hope you will watch more of their X Factor journey.
