Time to tell you what we have been working on these past few days:
A new character! Meet Shey, an other member of the raiders. She is 186cm tall and really really fit.
With her size she also differs from the other human females also in terms of skeletal information. This means that she will need all animations manually adapted to her proportions. Therefore she wont be available for youknowwhat in this coming build. But we will work on those anim fixes and hopefully get you some nice action on that end soon.
We have also made some good progress on the environment design side of things which our artists have been looking into. In the following screenshot you can see how that work looks like from inside Houdini (the application in which we create these landscapes)
On the build side we are still looking good. Our coders have been doing an awesome job implementing the new features and as of now things are still on track for a release in the next few days.
More info on the build feature update list / changelog will be posted shortly before release.

PS: For the storytime-thirsty among you, here is a brief look into Shey’s bio :)
Growing up in one of the most brutal slums of her homeworld wasn't easy, especially not for a girl. But Shey isn't a normal girl, she didn't just survive that rough environment, but she adapted very well to it and became an incredibly tough woman.
Her reputation ended up reaching a local military base where she was promptly offered to join the service when she was 21. An offer which she gladly accepted.
For 11 years she served, fighting in several wars and eventually specializing in vehicle-engineering and becoming an aircraft pilot.
All she has ever known was the destruction, suffering and death caused by human conflicts. So the occasional tales from her comrades with more fortunate places of origin always fascinated her. She dreamt of visiting those worlds that weren't ravaged by pollution, poverty and war.
Eventually during her time in the army she learned about the (re)discovery of the planet Kerpal, an ancient lost world. Shey knew this was her call, so she ended up leaving the army to pursue her new goal.
It took her nearly 2 years to make her breakthrough which happened when she met Yason, the leader of small raiders gang set to travel to Kerpal. Shey’s skills in combat and aircraft-piloting made her a perfect fit for the team and so the journey of her life was finally about to begin...

Thats the plan, yes. Some will be bigger, some will be smaller but we want to do more regular releases in the future.
Since it's been over 3 months since the last build because you had to scale up your company after the increase in cashflow can we expect a return to releases taking 6 weeks instead of 3 months?

Very nice - I really like the idea of increased variety in the character models. While I’m not all that picky when it comes to the beauty of female form, I do believe that fit and buff women are sorely underrepresented in game media as a whole. I also liked the small titbit of news about the environment; that is one area that really should not be neglected in a game like this. I'm one of those people who pay close attention to the background and textures of the landscapes in games - its one of the reasons I got into scenic photography as a hobby - so any news you give us about the environment development caters to my interest, and I’m sure I’m not the only one. Thank you for the update.

Nice. Shey kinda reminds me a bit of Kassandra from Assassin's Creed Odyssey, but on steroids. I wouldn't mess with her. But she could mess with me anytime she'd want :)
