Patreon Story Update #7 - Adûn

We have been working on the game’s setting, lore and story for quite a while now and it is time we present it to you.
We will not spoil the main plot of the game with these, but spoilers concerning the setting and backstory are inevitable. So if you prefer to explore the world completely un-spoilered once the game is done, do not read any further!
Today, let's talk about…
Adûn
Gate to the Desert
Carved into the walls of a great canyon lies the ancient lizard city of Adûn. Estimated to be about 2000 years old, it is the oldest known settlement on Kerpal, founded by Kerpal’s reptilian natives, long before humans first set foot on the planet.
Adûn was the original birthplace of lizard culture and the center of their civilization for hundreds of years. Though their capital was eventually moved to the crash site city of Yterra, following the great war, Adûn remains relevant to this day.
This is in large part due to its strategically important location on one of the few known pathways through the mountains that separate the continent’s northern and southern half. While the humans eventually managed to claim the north for themselves, the conflict reached a stalemate at the pass of Adûn and to this day, it remains a lizard fortress guarding the gate to the desert.
Lately, more and more lizard scouts have been seen in the north and rumor has it, the mysterious lizard queen herself sent her first general and his elite guard to bolster the troops of Adûn. The human tribes fear they may be hatching plans to retake the green lands of the north soon…

The entire main plot of the game is non-sexual. The sex content will be in the very extensive side-quests of the game :)
