so i have the shipping test build 3 from 2020 of Wild Life, its fantastic, loved it, works perfectly. Thought id try the latest public release before buying the patreon version. Good job i did! Theres a big issue: It doesnt seem to register the mouse properly, if i start the game and click very fast i can start a new game and play for about 20-30 seconds, after that, the mouse movement just shows the mouse curser, it does not move the view and every single click turns my screen black for few seconds before showing the game again and the tv input name (hdmi1 for me) and thats it, it keeps doing this meaning i cant play at all. If i start the game and just wait a little bit before clicking anything, the same thing happens, so i can be stuck on the menu screen unable to click anything. Seems like there is something that runs in the background after 30ish seconds of the game starting that causes this issue. i tried using a game controller too, which worked as input, but for some reason this made the game lag harrrrrd. like 10+ second delay from moving joystick to actually seeing really slow and jittery movement on screen. again unplayable. is this a known issue in the works? i really wanted to play this game, but its not working. was very dissapointing after such a looong download wait time. the beta version worked way better.
