Hi everyone.
It has come to my attention recently that a number of you have been recording my live Discord rambles. If you have done this, please take down any or all portions of any of my Live Rambles you may have uploaded for the public to hear. I am not asking you to delete your recording, as this announcement is being made after you created said recording, but I do ask that you keep the document to yourself and do not share or distribute it with anyone or on any online platform.
I am not indicting anyone, it is my responsibility to for see events such as this before they occur so I can preemptively address them for your benefit as well as mine. Although I do not place any blame on anyone or harbor any resentment nor has my personal opinion of you changed, if you are in possession of a recording from any portion of my rambles, I do hold you accountable for its safe keeping.
Please understand that any content I create is my content, I own it unless explicitly purchased by a commissioner which will never apply to a live ramble. As with any of my content, and for reasons I will not nor refuse to detail here now, I must ensure its integrity and security for the security of my business and livelihood. I need to be in control of my own content and I assume you will respect this when you purchase access to such content as live sessions with your $5 pledge.
By recording me without my knowledge, you violate my right not to be recorded in a private environment and you disrespect the nature of my live rambles. The purpose of a live ramble is to allow you access to an intimate and personal conversation with me in a candid and private environment. Operating under this premise means that I will say and do things live in discussion with you that I would not typically do had I been recording myself or known I was being recorded.
I cannot continue live rambles if this behavior continues, so if I find you from this point forward recording or sharing my live ramble content anywhere, I am warning you that I just might ban you from my discord and my patreon, and I may have to discontinue live rambles in the future or severely restrict them to smaller groups I can better manage and easily identify if an issue occurs again.
I love and respect you all and ask you love and respect me, too. That is what Namaste means. The love and life in me honors the love and life within you.

I had to find this on my lunch break and it was heart breaking to hear that some are taking advantage of our perks of being part of this community. I was just thinking of how wonderful these rambles on discord have been the pass few weeks, but unfortunately problems arise and boundaries need to be reminded of. You approach this situation with such care and firmness that i hope you're not too hard on yourself about this. I’m sorry that this happened , I would of never thought that something like this would happen because of the trust and respect that we have built. I am glad that you set it in the rules just in case for new comers to understand and for whoever needs to listen. Also I know that you monitor your work and I understand reasons like this you have to do so. I just hope they will stop taking you and your dedication for granted and gain better respect for your privacy. You would think there was just an unspoken understanding that because we’re already in this effectively exclusive community together that recording live interactions is not allowed, let alone posting them on other platforms. We all already know how you feel about that. I’m sorry that not everyone is respectful of the time you take to spend with us. And whoever you are with the recordings, I do hope you’ll consider Tom’s words since he’s asked kindly not to share what’s supposed to be private amongst this group. But!!! I respect you more and more as a creator and artist every day. It’s kind and thoughtful for you to include us in something so personal like the live rambles, but I also respect that you put your foot down immediately. I’m sorry that you have to deal with things like this, and I understand how frustrating it is from one artist to another for people to take advantage of you. We support you! Tom I am so so sorry that this has happened to you. I'm incredibly disappointed that some people are doing something like this because it is a HUGE violation of your privacy and it's simply disrespectful to you and your livelihood. I love your live rambles, especially after watching a show together because it feels like talking to a friend. That's why I am so angry that someone took advantage of that by recording you without your permission and then uploading it to the public. I am very happy though that you're addressing this and setting down more rules in order to protect yourself. I hope the people who been doing this stop and respect what you have to say. I'm not surprised, but yet I'm still incredibly disappointed for you to hear that it's begun already. I'm happy that you're laying down the law. For your well being I hope that you continue being vigilant about stressing the importance of your privacy. Your generosity will unfortunately keep being taken advantage of but I'll still be your cheerleader at the sidelines well beyond the boundaries you've set should you be forced to be even more private in the future.
