Perhaps an idea for your back catalogue of music and live footage would be (for a small one off fee perhaps, or even a 'pay per play' or per 'download' basis) would be your own 'Spotify of Numan' /'Netflix of Numan'. ;-)

Having heard the 'I Suppose' (demo of sorts) on YouTube it does sound legit and of the 'Dance' period (the mumbled/gibberish adlibbed lyrics sound like a work in progress, in keeping with some of the previously released 'B-sides' and the instrumentation is legit too with the genesis of the 'Dance' (title track) and a bit of a nod towards 'Stormtrooper In Drag' within it I think (I wonder if Beggars Banquet found it on the old tapes, or as you've said a copy got nicked by someone working in the studio).

Sad to hear you probably won’t be doing a US acoustic tour, though I get the reasoning. Since most of my family in the UK has died over time so it would have been hard for me to make a trip there. Watched the YouTube videos though, looked great. Your voice has always been amazingly distinctive and it comes across so well and so clear in the acoustic sets where it’s not buried under synths etc, you sounded great. Really hoping some of the questions I’d sent in get answered in the remaining QandA, would love to hear you read them out and answer. All the best…. x

another fascinating in-site into your world of thoughts and ideals , I can understand that you would be so pleased and felt the feeling of great accomplishment with the acoustic tour , and feel that it was extra special due to its stripped quality ,I was lucky enough to be at the Newcastle meet and greet and the Acoustic gig, which indeed it was an incredible concert , raw and pure , and you and the lads did yourselves and us proud , it was a extraordinary performance which I will remember , and being right at the front was just amazing thank you x

Loved this update, Gary. Speaking about meeting people, I once bumped into you in the street in Bristol during the Sacrifice tour. You jumped out of a van in front of me and I blurted out something like, "God, you look like shit!" You were charming and agreed, saying you had laryngitis and had been in bed all day. I later attended the sound check and the show and you were an absolute pro - I would never have known you were unwell. It's stuck in my mind all these years because I'm embarrassed by the way I behaved and hugely impressed with how you handled it - thank you. That was a very long way of saying I'm so sorry, I really didn't mean to be rude and it's massively to your credit that you didn't tell me to eff off! Still a fan since '79 and dying to hear your next new music :-)

I think Vimeo and the Patreon app have fallen out again, as I get the same thing. Log in on the Patreon website in your browser instead and you should be fine. 🙂
