What you think about RPG Maker?
🕑 Added 2024-10-08 15:28:24 +0000 UTCHey guys. I want to ask you about your thoughs about playing RPG Maker games and what you think about it's graphics?
I know a lot of peoples don't like how they look, but there's a lot of good features and because of that I wan't to know is it possible for you to accept something in future on that game engine or with that type of graphics?
So, why am I thinking about it? - I have many ideas what to do after completing Happy Summer and one of it is to make a game with a lot of control to improve experience. And one of the easiest way for it are this type of engines.
What can you expect from a game on such an engine:
1. Faster development for new events.
2. More interactable things and more interesting quests.
3. Characters and event images still can be with high quality how I made for HS.

I don't really see a reason for RPGM unless you actually plan on doing more gameplay or RPG elements on the game. If it's only interacting with items/characters and moving from place to place, I don't see the point of that, why not just use Renpy. But for RPG games with puzzles and some actual gameplay, I don't mind RPGM that much as far as it's done well and not too grindy. And as other people mentioned, I still want all the lewd stuff and some other stuff to be in 3D and animated in Daz/Blender
