I recommend not listening to people whom want you to skip episodes. Every episode is part of the show, develops the characters, tell you the story of their experience on the journey and just because some people don't like it, doesn't mean you wont or you wont gain something from watching.

Episode 11 isn't crap, per se, but more controversial. Some people (like me) enjoy episode 11. Some people disagree with it for moral or character driven reasons on a couple different fronts. Doesn't hurt anything to really skip it, but it's not a bad watch, really. I will give though it is the weakest episode in the series.
