Basically Chrissy had Bulimia caused by her mum. That's why she was vomiting at school, the flies covering the food because she obviously had a terrible relationship with food, her dad having his eyes and mouth sewn up (to imply that he can't pr couldn't speak out against his wife's verbal abuse to their daughter, her mum loosening her skirt to make Chrissy think she needed to lose weight and ultimately that is what caused her Bulimia. The vision with her mum actually happened to her in real life and Vecna used that to his advantage

I just watched it back then, I don't think those were clock chimes, it was just an ominous percussive sound to build tension. It's possible that they had a rough idea of where they wanted to take the series, but I doubt they had thought of the clock chimes element specifically. The one in season 3 when Billy gets taken though was one was possible foreshadowing, it's much more distinct

Idk if you noticed but in season 1 when Will falls off his bike you can hear clock chimes.

Season 4. Let's go. Love the reception to Murray's entrance in this season. Yeah, big growth spurt with Will and Lucas looking fit! The start of this season threw me with it's very different monster vibe. It's not anything we've been used to.
