you can set a personal project that you can apply the knowledge and it should be getting harder bit by bit. Set a goal for the project like what you want to learn and you wouldnt even need to finished the project if you met your goal. You'll often encounter problems and solving them would give you new insights and it can be applied to the next project. The whole process be like: Identifying> setting goals> solving problem> revision> Apply knowledge. you can also learn by teaching other about the knowledge cuz you need to be very clear and know sth bout it so as to teach other. It also helps you organize what you have learned too.
